SECOND SOLUTION
The remaining plotters; Robert Catesby, Thomas Percy, John and Christopher Wright, Robert and Thomas Winter and Robert Bates were all caught and publicly executed for treason against the state during the following year.
So ended the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
But what if..... (original sleeve notes, 1986)
Justyce
The events in this story form the basis of the 'Justyce' stories in the fourth season of audio plays.
PRODUCTION NOTES
When the King's men catch up with the conspirators, angry cries of battle were required. Nobody seems to remember whether or not the cast's efforts for this made it into the final recording, but a good time was certainly had by all.
Nabil Shaban
In particular, Nabil Shaban (guest starring as Bates and Sir Knevet) certainly entered into the spirit of things. Screaming and shouting at the top of his voice, he even provided realistic sound effects by dismantling most of his wheelchair and bashing the metal parts together.
He was so caught up in his antics that he missed the cry of 'Cut!' from the director, only giving up his 'battle' when he realized he was the only one left fighting it!
