VILGRETH

This extra story was written and produced at the 11th hour, when it became evident that The Destructor Contract would overrun it original C60 tape allocation by 1 minute! The tape duration was altered to a C90, and Vilgreth now occupies the beginning of the first side, and the end of the second side of the tape.

DESTRUCTOR CONTRACT

During 1985, I started word on The Time Destructors, a sequel to Conglomerate. I knew I wanted a strong, unconventional villain, but I didn't dare write the part until I knew we could get Barry Killerby. I phoned him up and asked him if he'd play a part in one of our plays. He said he would. Then I wrote the script, with Barry's taste for extravagant characters very much in mind! Cuthbert, the bizarre intergalactic tycoon was born.

Conglomerate Stories

This is the second Conglomerate story, and it depicts the company's interference in galactic affairs. This theme is developed further in Alan W Lear's Enclave Irrelative , Andy Lane's Requiem and, more graphically, in my collaboration with Samuel Flint, Subterfuge.
